Age of Home: 37 years

Problem: Concrete Driveway has dropped at the garage floor causing a speed bump when pulling a car into the garage.

Evaluation: Grading backfill as well as foundation over dig backfill has naturally settled over time.

Repair Performed:

Strategically drilled small holes through the driveway close to the garage.
Slurry viscosity was determined by the distance the driveway has fallen and the area it needs to spread to not leave any voids.
Cement Slurry was carefully injected until driveway was lifted to the desired height.

Further recommendations to this customer include the following:

Do not drive on for 24 hours.
Fill open joints with sand and cover with a “self-leveling concrete caulk” to help keep the sub surface dry.
